Auditioning for Encore

ENCORE VOCAL ENSEMBLE'S SPRING 2022 AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD FEBRUARY 1, 7-10 PM.

Are you or someone you know interested in singing with Encore Vocal Ensemble for our Spring 2022 season? Now is your chance to audition!

At this time we are looking for all voices; Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass/Baritone.

Below is the link to the Audition Survey that must be filled out and submitted in order for you to audition:

The Theme for this season is Encore’s 10th Anniversary! We'll be taking a look back through our shows over the last 10 years (actually 12, since this show was postponed by COVID) to reflect on where Encore came from and where we’re going.

All the information that you need to know to prepare for your audition is in the survey. Further info will be sent personally to interested individuals closer to the audition date.

Auditions will take place on Tuesday, February 1, 7-10 PM.

Encore's Spring Shows are currently planned to take place the weekend of June 10th, 2022. Tech Week will be June 5th thru the 9th, in the evenings. We ask that all auditionees block out the following weekend as well (June 17th - 19th), as a backup.

**Performing members for this season must agree to have no schedule conflicts with tech week or either performance date.

Encore rehearsals are on Tuesday nights at University Christian Church in Hillcrest, and some additional Monday night rehearsals will be required for those who audition for featured performances (solos, duets, small ensembles, actors and dancers).

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to:

Jacob Davis, Encore Membership & Social Chair

*Encore Vocal Ensemble is still very concerned with the spread of COVID and is watching the CDC guidelines closely.  Performances may be postponed or even canceled based on those guidelines.  Currently we are requiring proof of vaccination, and all singers must wear masks at rehearsals.  Rehearsals may also be canceled based on CDC guidelines.
